MiOS was founded in 2008 by software mastermind, successful entrepreneur and Home Automation fanatic, Aaron Bergen. Before startin MiOS, Aaron founded, grew and sold two other software-based companies, Shopnet and Softouch infoCenters. Aaron is the CEO and CTO, but like many crazed software geniuses he would rather be coding than doing just about anything else. Whether early in the morning or late at night, you can find Aaron at his computer screen creating software brilliance.

In early 2009, Aaron was joined by partner Lew Brown. Lew has been in the consumer electronics business his entire adult life (adult might be a euphemism) with the last 20 or so as a senior executive. He has been involved in all aspects of the CE business, including retail, manufacturing, distribution and embedded technologies. Lew is the EVP of business development, sales and marketing and an obsessive drive to satisfy the customer.

MiOS is a global company with employees in North and South America and Europe. Our passion is to make Home Control relevant in every household and easier to setup and use. MiOS is dedicated to advancing technology to save energy, achieve a greener lifestyle and simplify security.
